The criollo horse has a long history. As a descendant of the 15th century Andalusian horse, he has adjusted to the difficult living conditions encountered on the new continent, to whose history he is closely attached.
Working horse, both powerful and docile, lively and calm. I made the choice to breed this breed of horses out of love for South America, its history, its geography and its equestrian culture.
The criollo horse is still little known in France, where North American culture and the quarter horse are hegemonic. But he has nothing to envy him. He excels at working livestock, is an extraordinary outdoor horse and does not suffer from any genetic diseases.
The standard of the criollo (ideal size 1m44, short and broad head, neck of medium length slightly convex at its upper line, muscular and not very protruding withers, well-proportioned back, short and broad loins, broad and muscular rump and chest, etc.) make from him a harmonious, well-muscled riding horse, with a low center of gravity. It offers an infinite number of coat colors, some of them very exotic. It also often has stripes on its limbs and a mullet stripe on its back, characteristic of very old breeds.
